What Is The Best Sex Positions for Burning Calories? From personal experience, the creative ones tend to be best for both burning calories and building muscle mass. This is because (1) uncommon positions tend to engage larger muscle groups, which are key to exercise; and (2) creative positions tend to be more difficult, which delays gratification and extends the duration of the experience. With that in mind, I recommend the following (male/female roles are flexible, based on the sexuality of the participants):
Pinball Wizard:
The male, on his knees, holds his partner by her bottom as she lay face-up with her weight on his shoulders. Alternatively, her feet can support her weight by pressing against a wall behind her partner.
Super-Woman:
Similar to the last position, but the male is standing and the female is face down- supporting her weight on her hands. Again, the female can use her feet to support herself in an inclined push-up position against a wall, or her partner can hold her up by the waist.
Stick Shift:
The male lay face up, with his feet and shoulders/upper back on the ground forming a straight line from his knees to his shoulders. His partner squats on his waist facing his head. From there, he lifts one leg to be in front of his partner, she holds it in one hand to direct the angle of penetration.
Butter Churn:
The female lay in a partial plow position, with her knees/ankles by her head. Her partner squats and enters her from above. Ideally, both partners are facing the same direction, one is just upside-down.
Man-Tree:
